One of the largest attractions at Van Cortlandt Park Golf Course are the historic, original, lockers that were assembled during the creation of the clubhouse in 1902. Over 100-hundred years old, these lockers are amongst the oldest existing locker rooms in America. A truly rustic part of the course, and perhaps, the aspect of the course that most aids golfers in reminiscing about the history that is ever present at America’s oldest public golf course. Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, Joe Louis, and the Three Stooges have all at one time, rented a locker at Vanny. Our locker room was also featured in the 1988 movie “Wallstreet”. Currently, our locker rentals are seasonal, lasting from January 1 to December 31. Lockers are available and cost $45 for the season.
